新墨西哥州法院要求使用保护性面部遮挡物 – 自2020年5月16日起生效,任何人进入新墨西哥州法院或司法大楼均必须戴口罩或其它保护性面部遮挡物,以助控制COVID-19病毒扩散。
未戴口罩者在需要进入法庭设施时,法庭会为他们准备口罩。
上诉法院、地区法院、地方法院、都市法院、市政法院和遗嘱检验法庭,以及法院行政办公室的法庭工作人员和司法官员也必须在其工作场所戴口罩。
“州卫生官员已清楚表示,如果我们每个人都在公众场合戴上口罩,就可以帮助减缓COVID-19扩散和拯救生命,” 首席法官Judith K. Nakamura说。 “ 法庭给公众提供基本服务,让我们继续采取一切必要的步骤来保障在法院工作或需要来法院人员的健康和安好。”
