RFP FY 2018 - Court Appointed Attorneys for Abuse and Neglect Proceedings & Indigent Adults and Juveniles Subject to Civil Commitment Proceedings

The Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) is soliciting proposals for contractor attorneys for abuse/neglect cases as well as mental health/civil commitment cases in the following Judicial Districts: Second (Bernalillo), Fifth (Chaves, Eddy, Lea), Sixth (Grant, Hidalgo, Luna), Seventh (Catron, Sierra, Socorro, Torrance), Eighth (Colfax, Taos, Union), Tenth (DeBaca, Harding, Quay) and the Eleventh (San Juan, McKinley). The AOC is also soliciting proposals for abuse and neglect Appellate counsel. Proposals must be received at the Administrative Office of the Courts no later than May 15, 2017 at 4:00 pm. To receive the RFP packet by mail, contact Sarah Jacobs at (505) 827-4887 at the AOC, 327 Don Gaspar, Room 25, Santa Fe, NM 87501. RFP packets will not be faxed. The Procurement Code, NMSA 1978, '13-1-28 to -199, imposes civil and criminal penalties for its violation. In addition, the New Mexico criminal statutes impose felony penalties for illegal bribes, gratuities and kickbacks.
